Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport and BOM Karting End the Season with Success

Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport (BOM) and the BOM Karting Team concluded their respective racing seasons with remarkable achievements. Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport secured third place in the GT4 European Series team standings, highlighted by Pedro Ebrahim's Rookie Cup victory. Meanwhile, the BOM Karting Team finished third in the 2024 Turkey Karting Championship, showcasing outstanding performance throughout the season.

Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport Shines in the GT4 European Series

Delivering a standout performance in the GT4 European Series, Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport participated in the final round held at Saudi Arabia's Jeddah Circuit on November 29-30. Despite challenges, the team maintained its resilience and finished the championship third in the team rankings, with Pedro Ebrahim celebrating a Rookie Cup win.

On the first day of the race, drivers Berkay Besler and Gabriel Piana, racing with car #12, faced an unfortunate early collision, forcing them to retire from the stage. Meanwhile, Yağız Gedik and Pedro Ebrahim, in car #11, started in 18th position and fought their way up to finish 9th.

The second day of the race saw further challenges. Despite starting from 7th place and demonstrating strong pace, Gedik and Ebrahim were forced to retire due to technical issues. Similarly, Besler and Piana started from 5th position but also ended their race prematurely due to mechanical problems.

With preparations already underway for the next season, Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport is eager to return to the track in pursuit of even greater victories.

BOM Karting Concludes the 2024 Turkey Karting Championship on a High Note

The BOM Karting Team continued its successful season in the final round of the 2024 Turkey Karting Championship, held at İzmit Körfez Circuit on November 30 and December 1. The team secured podium finishes, ending the season in third place in the team standings.

In the Master category, Muratcan Eğilmez, racing with car #459, finished the weekend in 5th place, contributing valuable points to the team. In the Senior category, Ahmet Sinan Sofuoğlu, with car #354, ended the weekend in 7th place.

In the Mini category, young driver Rüzgar Evci, with car #118, showcased a stellar performance, finishing third in the final round and stepping onto the podium. Fellow Mini category driver Efe Ayhan, with car #132, finished in 6th place, adding crucial points to the team's tally. In the Micro category, Zayn Sofuoğlu, racing with car #54, consistently outperformed his rivals and concluded the championship as the category champion.

With a focus on nurturing young talent and achieving greater success on national and international stages, the BOM Karting Team aims to continue inspiring the karting community with its competitive spirit and teamwork in the coming season.
