BOM Karting Team claimed victory in the TOSFED Micro Support Cup during the third round of the Motul 2024 Turkish Karting Championship, thanks to Zayn Sofuoğlu’s outstanding performance.

Held on June 22-23 at the Izmit Körfez Race Track, the Turkish Karting Championship turned into a festival-like event with high spectator turnout. The third-round races featured intense competition and were graced by the presence of champion motorcycle racer Toprak Razgatlıoğlu, who came to support BOM Karting.

Zayn Sofuoğlu, Turkey's youngest karting driver, delivered a spectacular performance in the TOSFED Micro Support Cup, finishing the third round of the season in first place and crowning his week with a trophy.

In the Mini Category, BOM Karting athlete Rüzgar Evci climbed to second place with impressive performances in the first two races. However, due to technical issues in the final race, he finished the third round of the championship in fourth place.

Another Mini Category driver, Efe Ayhan, contributed valuable points to the team with his fast and consistent efforts. Ayhan ended the weekend in sixth place, showcasing a noteworthy performance.

BOM Karting Team continues its journey in the Turkish Karting Championship with strong performances.

 

The fourth round of the Motul Turkish Karting Championship will take place on August 10-11 at the Uşak Karting Track.
