BOM Karting Team, which finished as the runner-up in the Motul 2023 Turkish Karting Championship, made a strong start to the 2024 season. During the first round races held on April 20-21 at the Izmit Körfez Race Track, BOM Karting Team succeeded in stepping onto the podium with three of its drivers.

Zayn Sofuoğlu, holding the title of Turkey's youngest karting driver, completed the first round as the winner of the TOSFED Micro Support Cup with the points he earned in all three races of his debut professional race weekend.

In his second season with BOM Karting Team, Efe Ayhan successfully finished the first round races as the runner-up in the Mini Category.

BOM Karting Team athlete Rüzgar Evci, who was the third-place finisher in the Mini Category of the 2022 Turkish Karting Championship, completed the first round races, marked by intense competition, in third place.

After a one-year hiatus, BOM Karting’s Senior Category driver Sarp Arhan Or returned to the track and wrapped up the weekend in sixth place after successfully competing in the first round.

The second round of the Motul Turkish Karting Championship will take place on May 25-26 at Istanbul Tuzla Karting Park.
