The BOM Karting Team concluded the Motul 2023 Turkey Karting Championship in second place in the Teams category. The team also secured second and third-place trophies in the Master category, leaving a significant mark on the 2023 season.

In their third consecutive season competing in the Turkey Karting Championship, BOM Karting has consistently finished as the runner-up in the Teams category. Borusan Otomotiv CEO Hakan Tiftik celebrated their achievement, saying, “BOM Karting Team made us proud in the 100th year of our Republic. I thank the team for the joy and happiness they brought us by finishing the Motul Turkey Karting Championship 2023 season with three trophies.”

Levent Kocabıyık, Board Member of Borusan Otomotiv, emphasized the importance of this success, stating, “This victory in karting, which is the gateway to motorsports, is incredibly meaningful and valuable for our mission to encourage young people in this field. We are so happy to see the BOM Karting Team, which we founded only three years ago, finish on the podium for the third consecutive year in the Turkey Karting Championship. I wholeheartedly congratulate all our team members who contributed to these achievements in the 100th year of Turkey.”

Ahmet Köseleci, Director of BOM, praised the team's performance during the season: "We competed in seven rounds across four different tracks in the 2023 season. I want to congratulate our drivers and technical team for their success in both the Master and the highly competitive Mini categories. We are already preparing for the 2024 season with a championship mindset and will announce our new drivers soon."

Master and Mini Categories: In the Master category, BOM Karting's Mustafa Can Özdoğan finished second overall in the championship, while Muratcan Eğilmez claimed third place after stepping onto the podium at the final race at Izmit Körfez Circuit. Other drivers in the Master category, Volkan Saatçioğlu and Suat Mızrak, contributed valuable support in their debut season, completing the championship successfully.

In the Mini category, BOM Karting drivers Efe Ayhan and Demir Uyan finished the season in 10th and 11th places, respectively.

Awards at the TOSFED 2023 Season Gala:

The TOSFED 2023 Season Gala, held in a mesmerizing atmosphere, recognized the achievements of the top performers of the season. BOM Karting Team received the second-place Teams trophy with full participation. In the individual driver categories, Can Özdoğan, who finished second in the Master category, and Muratcan Eğilmez, who claimed third place, were also awarded their trophies during the gala. BOM Karting Team completed the 2023 Motul Turkey Karting Championship with a total of three trophies.
