The BOM Karting Team completed the first races of the Turkish Karting Championship on April 29-30 at İzmit Körfez Circuit.

BOM Karting competed in the Master and Mini categories during the opening races of the 2023 season. Racing with car number 59, Muratcan Eğilmez returned to the track after a long break and finished the weekend in 5th place. Meanwhile, in the Mini category, Efe Ayhan raced with car number 32 and concluded the weekend in 14th place.

The second races of the Turkish Karting Championship will take place on June 24-25 at Tuzla Karting Park.

About the BOM Karting Team:

Established in 2020 with the aim of preparing young athletes for the future of motorsports, the BOM Karting Team utilized the cancellation of races due to the pandemic that year as an opportunity to train in race discipline for the following season. In the 2021 Turkish Karting Championship, BOM Karting achieved second place in the team rankings, secured first place in the Mini Women’s category, and second place in the Senior Women’s category. The BOM Karting Team continued to compete in the Turkish Karting Championship throughout 2022.
